about

This is the fourth diary entry, after surviving the abusive relationship I managed to forgive and let the past go. I wanted this track to feel as if the audience is floating and travelling to a place of peace.

lyrics

Verse 1

I’ve had to let you go
And left low
Nothing is left of me
Nothing to give
Or receive

Forgiving you weren’t easy
It’s eroding me
Can’t you see
Set me free

Chorus/Hook
And As the sun sets and the moon shines
and I feel my love for you pass
And as my pain pasts away and travels, fades, away.

Verse 2
I’ve had to pray
And pushed away
Had to Get down
Asking for his grace
This won’t get the best of me
If I let you break
Then I’ll finally be free
Distant as We can be

Chorus:

And As the sun sets and the moon shines
and I feel my love for you pass
As my pain dusts away, and it travels, fades away, fades away.

Trumpet solo

Bridge
We weren’t meant to be
Loving you was never easy
Let My Spirit fly
And I find its liberty

Chorus:

And As the sun sets and the moon shines
and I feel my love for you pass
My pain dusts away, and it travels, fades away
Fades Away
Oooooh
